A 21-year-old man, a former boyfriend of the victim's daughter, has been detained and charged for the murder of the 44-year-old woman from Parvomay. This was announced by the prosecutor's office. According to NOVA sources, one of the clues that lead investigators, the Ministry of Interior and the prosecutor's office to the possible perpetrator is the strange movement of his car on August 18 - when the murder took place. The car was spotted driving on the "Trakia" highway after 02:00 in the direction of Burgas, and 3 hours later in the opposite direction. The same car was seized last night from "Studentski grad", where the detainee lives in a dormitory.
"I understood that there had been a murder. Some boy stabbed a woman. I don't know anything else. He was from our dormitory," shared a student from the neighborhood.
Until the early hours, forensic investigators conducted searches and seizures in Ivelin Tsvetanov's dormitory on the 7th floor of block 13. According to information from NOVA, clothes, shoes and knives were seized from there. And at the entrance to the block, police officers allowed only those living there.
The detainee is originally from Varna. No one opened his home for us today. However, his neighbors told us about him.
„I was surprised that it was our neighbor. I know his parents. His father is a captain, his mother is an accountant. They were watching over their child”, shared a neighbor.
”He has had a violent character since he was a child, and now he is a student in Sofia”, believes another neighbor.
The motive for the murder is expected to be revealed by the Ministry of Interior and the prosecutor's office. The young man has been detained for 72 hours.
