The official press conference for the 10 jubilee edition of the cinema-literary festival “Cinelibri” turned into a poetic performance, NOVA reported.
During the forum, whose motto is “Poetry without end”, 67 titles will be presented with 10 international and over 15 national premieres. In addition, there will be 45 special events, gala dinners in 11 countries, retrospectives, film-literary meetings and specialized discussions.
„We chose this general theme, which should not be taken in the literal sense. Of course, we are not talking about screen adaptations of poetry, but we are talking about the poetics of the image and the poetic in life and in art as such,” said the president of the festival, Jacqueline Wagenstein.
The festival opens with Paulo Sorrentino's new film – “Parthenope” on October 10 in Hall 1 of the NDK.
