The world-famous rock band Smokie will delight their Bulgarian fans with two concerts as part of the tour “Legendary Smokie - 50 Years of Music Tour” 2025. On July 8, they will rock the stage of the Summer Theater in Burgas, and the next day - July 9, they will continue with a grand show in Varna.
With their 26 albums, over 30 singles and more than 30 million copies sold, Smokie are among the most successful and beloved rock bands of all time. They are the holders of multiple gold and platinum certifications and have left an indelible mark on the hearts of three generations of fans with hits like "Don't Play Your Rock'N'Roll To Me", "I Can't Stay Here Tonight", "If You Think You Know How To Love Me", "Needles and Pins" and of course, "Living Next Door To Alice".
The current line-up of Smokie includes Steve Pinnell on drums, Mick McConnell on lead guitar and backing vocals, Pete Lincoln on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Martin Bullard on keyboards and Luke Bullard on bass guitar and backing vocals. Despite the numerous challenges and tragic events in the band's history, the musicians continue to demonstrate a huge passion for music and endless energy on stage.
