Barcelona striker Rafinha could miss the Champions League quarter-final matches due to an injury sustained in Brazil's 2-1 friendly loss to France, AS reports.
The 29-year-old winger has suffered a thigh muscle injury. The matches against the Madrid club will be played on April 8 and 14.
Rafinha has made 31 appearances for the Catalan club in all competitions this season, scoring 19 goals and providing eight assists.
Barcelona are following the performances of Victor Munoz from Osasuna, Sport newspaper reported on Friday.
The winger joined the Pamplona club from Real Madrid last summer for 5 million euros. The "White" retained 50 percent of the player's future sale, as well as a priority option to buy the player over the next three years for 8, 9 and 10 million euros respectively.
The 22-year-old's release clause in his current contract is 40 million euros, which is also a problem for the Catalans, who are leading the Primera Division standings and are close to winning a second consecutive title.
Victor Muñoz was at Barcelona from 2014 to 2017 and at Real Madrid between 2021 and 2025.
This season in the championship, Muñoz has scored six goals and provided two assists in a total of 29 matches.
