CSKA management congratulates 67th birthday day of one of its greatest legends Stoicho Mladenov. The former football player and head coach of the "Army" is the last mentor who led the "red" to the title in Bulgaria in 2008, reported FOCUS.

Today the legendary football player and former head coach of CSKA Stoycho Mladenov celebrates his 67th birthday.

With the "red" Mladenov played 212 matches, in which he scored 107 times.

With his goals, CSKA eliminated Liverpool in the tournament for the European Champions Cup and reached the second semi-final in the club's history. Mladenov is a four-time champion of Bulgaria as a player of CSKA and a two-time winner of the Bulgarian Cup.

As a coach, he has three titles with the army. In the 1996-1997 season, Stoicho Mladenov was Georgi Vasilev's assistant, and in 2003 and 2008 he led CSKA to the 29th and 31st titles as head coach.

In the autumn of 2002, under his leadership, CSKA made a perfect streak of 13 consecutive victories and managed for the first time in history to finish the first half of the season with a full asset of points.

During the 2007-2008 season, CSKA became the champion with a record 16 point difference over the second-placed Levski.
