Anton Rizov finished in 33rd place in the 50-meter rifle from three positions at the World Cup in sports shooting in Rio de Janeiro, reported Sportal.
The Bulgarian recorded a total of 585 points (193 kneeling, 197 lying down and 195 standing) and failed to enter the final and fight for an Olympic quota for Paris.
The best result in the qualification was given by the Czech Jiri Privratsky with 595 points.
In air rifle in Rio two days ago, Rizov scored 627.5 points and finished in 33rd place.
Late tonight, the Bulgarian group leaves Brazil for Sofia.
The next Airsoft and Small Arms World Cup will be in Baku, Azerbaijan in the period 01-12 May.
The European Small Arms Championship and last chance for Paris quota will be from 25 May to 08 June in Osijek, Croatia.
