Manchester United management have already held secret talks with several managers about the possibility of one of them replacing Erik Ten Haag, claims “Daily Mail”. Last week, the same publication revealed that a delegation of the “red devils” was in Barcelona for negotiations with Xavi Hernandez, adds sportal.bg.
The publication does not reveal with whom exactly specific conversations have been held, but highlights the names of Ruben Amorim, Edin Terzic and Thomas Frank. Erik ten Hag kept his post during the last break for the national teams, but if the results do not change, the next break, which is in November, could also lead to the end of the Dutchman's stay at “Old Trafford”.
It is still possible that if the management eventually lose confidence in Ten Hag, his assistant Ruud van Nistelrooy could take over on an interim basis until the end of the season.
