Bulgarian champion Alexandra Feigin won the women's title, and Alexander Zlatkov and Liya Lyubenova won bronze medals in the tenth edition of the ISU international figure skating tournament "Sofia Trophy", which is held at the Winter Palace in the capital, BTA reports.
Feigin, who is a competitor of the "Denkova-Staviski Ice Dance" club, performed excellently in both her programs and collected a total of 191.94 points. Thus, she became first in the short program with a score of 65.83 points, and then she was undisputed in the free skate - 126.11.
Second place went to Kristen Spurs (Great Britain) with 176.36 points, who was fourth after the first part of the competition, and the bronze medal went to the Romanian Julia Sauter, who has a total of 176.05.
The second Bulgarian Kristina Grigorova is 17th with 121.96 points.
In the men's event, Alexander Zlatkov, who was sixth in the short program, received a second score for the free skate and took bronze with 197.31 points. Adam Hagara (Slovakia) became the champion with 236.01 points.
Beat Šumperli remained fourth with 185.6, and Filip Kaimakchiev finished eighth with 138.06 points.
Liya Lyubenova took third place in the girls with 148.27 points, after being third in the short program and sixth in the free program. Olivia Lengelova (Slovakia) became the champion with 179.64 points, followed by her sister Alisa Lengelova with 166.34 points. Krista Georgieva ranked 15th, Tsvetelina Panova was 25th, Anastasia Filina was 30th, and Anastasia Yurchuk was 33rd.
In the juniors, Deyan Mihaylov finished in fourth place with 168.06 points. Rosen Peev is 14th, and Kaloyan Nalbantov - 15th. The organizer of the competition is the skating club "Denkova-Staviski". The competitions are again valid for the European Cup for young people and are part of the initiative "Sofia - European Capital of Sport". Admission for spectators is free. The tournament "Sofia Trophy" is held with the support of the Bulgarian Skating Federation.
