The constant standing on the bench of Real Madrid is not reflecting well on Endrik. The 18-year-old striker said that he is not happy at all because it prevents him from establishing himself in the Brazilian national team, writes sportal.bg.
So far this season, he has played less than 500 minutes on the pitch, spread over 28 matches.
“If I have to be honest, what's on my mind is that I'm worried that I won't be part of Brazil's squad for the 2026 World Cup,” said Endrik in an interview with Romario for ESPN's Brazilian section.
“I'm worried because my dream is to play in a World Cup. It's even hard for me to talk about it. I want to help our team win its sixth world title,” the youngster continued.
“Of course, it's difficult to be part of the biggest club in the world, where the best players are, because you don't always get a chance to play. But when I'm on the field, I can prove that I have a place in the national team," concluded Endrik.
For the men's team of the “golden” the teenager has 13 matches with three goals in them.
