Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou commented on the upcoming Europa League final match against Manchester United, which will be held on May 21 in Bilbao, Topsport reported.
According to the manager, winning the tournament would not only end a 17-year trophy drought, but would also change the perception of "Spurs".
"Look at the history of this club and what it has done in the last 20 years. I feel this could be a turning point in the way Tottenham is perceived. Until you do that, no matter what else you achieve, people will say you haven't won anything. And in our game and in life in general, that's what matters when people judge where you are," Postecoglou said.
Tottenham are 17th in the Premier League table, Manchester United are 16th. The north London outfit lost to Liverpool (0-2) in the 2019 Champions League final.
