Pyotr Nesterov, Bulgaria's national team for the "Davis" Cup, won the title of the clay tennis tournament in Bucharest, which has a prize fund of 15 thousand dollars, BTA reports. The No. 4 seed Nesterov won the final over the home team's representative and third seed Gabi Adrian Boitan 6:4, 6:4 in 88 minutes on the court.
The Bulgarian made a breakthrough in the ninth game on his way to victory in the first set, and in the second part he again took the serve of his opponent in the ninth game and closed the match with his own serve.
Thus, Nesterov recorded his ninth victory in his last ten matches in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) circuit, after reaching the title match of a competition of the same rank in Bistrica (Romania) last week.
The 22-year-old Bulgarian won the fifth singles title in his career from the International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournaments.
