Ryan Ait-Nouri has joined Manchester City on a five-year deal after completing a transfer worth around 45 million euros from Wolverhampton, Reuters reports, quoted by BNR.
The 24-year-old Algerian defender had only one year left on his contract with "Wolves".
Ait-Nouri joined Wolves in 2020 on loan from Angers, and the following year made a permanent transfer. He spent five seasons with the team, in which he played 157 games and scored 12 goals. With his departure, Wolves lose a second key player after selling Brazilian Mateus Cunha to Manchester United.
Manchester City finished third in the Premier League last season and will play in the Champions League.
