Aurus Merlon electric motorcycles are now available for pre-order, they will go on sale in 2025. This was announced by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
The Aurus Merlon in action was first demonstrated at the inauguration ceremony of Russian President Vladimir Putin on May 7. The motorcycles were in the motorcade of the head of state. Putin arrived in the Kremlin with the renewed Aurus limousine, which we have already told you about.
The car has exterior changes. In particular, the headlights, radiator grille, bumper, hood and rims have been updated. As for the electric motorcycle, it was presented at the Innoprom industrial exhibition in 2022.
Then Manturov said that the mass production of Aurus Merlon will start in 2024. Merlon is capable of accelerating to more than 200 km/h. This motorcycle accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The autonomous range of the Merlon is about 200 km. The developers claim that their motorcycle will be able to work at temperatures down to -25 degrees.
