The Russian plant "Elektrodetal" in Karachevsk, Bryansk region was hit by a Ukrainian "Neptun" missile. This was announced by the commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, NV reports.

"At night, our "Neptun" precisely processed the Russian plant "Elektrodetal" in Karachevsk. Minus one more link in the enemy's supply chain. Everything that works for war against Ukraine will be destroyed!“, emphasized the commander of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the night of Monday, September 29, the Russian Telegram channel “Astra“, citing local residents, reported an attack on the “Electrodetal“ plant in Karachevsk and a fire at the site of the attack.

Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) confirmed the attack.

“On September 29, units of the Missile Troops and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, fired four missiles during a missile strike on the Karachevsk Electrodetal Plant (Karachev, Bryansk Region, Russian Federation). The flight distance is over 240 kilometers“, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation reported.

The Karachevsk Electrodetail Plant produces electrical connectors used in the aerospace, electronics, instrument-making and other industries. In particular, the plant produces connectors for printed circuit boards, military equipment, aircraft, antennas, base stations and other systems.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, Andrei Kovalenko, pointed out that “Electrodetail“ is part of the Russian military-industrial complex, without which the assembly and repair of modern Russian weapons would be disrupted.
