Russia has developed proposals in response to the possible seizure of Russian assets by Western countries, Russian Justice Minister Konstantin Chuichenko told TASS.

They have been presented to the country's leadership“, Chuichenko said, without providing details.
According to him, „the planned seizure of Russian assets by hostile states is a gross violation of fundamental norms of international law and entails the obligation of these states and other persons to compensate for the damage caused by the violation of the rights of the Russian Federation to its property“.
