Eleven people were injured in an attack on a facility in Udmurtia, the republic's Minister of Health Sergei Bagin reported on Telegram.

Udmurtia is part of the Russian Federation and is part of the Volga Federal District and the Ural Economic Region. The capital of the republic is the city of Izhevsk.

„Three people were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity - two patients in moderate condition, one in serious condition. An air ambulance team transported him to the First Republican Clinical Hospital, where he underwent surgery and is under constant observation,“ he said.

Doctors have released eight more people for outpatient observation after examination.

The head of the republic, Alexander Brechalov, announced a drone attack on a facility in Udmurtia on the night of February 21. He reported damage and casualties, without specifying their number. He also did not reveal which facility was involved.

Ukrainian military bloggers, quoted by BTA, reported that the AFU attacked a plant for the production of missiles, including short-range ballistic missiles "Iskander-M" and Topol-M intercontinental ballistic missiles, in the city of Votkinsk in the Udmurt Republic, about 1,400 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

Websites published footage of what they said was the attack on the facility, including a video showing a large column of smoke rising into the sky.

The unofficial Russian Telegram channel "SHOT", which often cites security sources, said that residents of Votkinsk heard at least three explosions, as well as the sound of approaching drones.

Russian military bloggers also reported an attack that caused a fire at a gas processing plant in the southern Samara region. Official authorities in the region have not published information about such an attack, Reuters noted.
