Iran has executed two men accused of collaborating with Israel's Mossad intelligence service and planning attacks on its territory, Reuters reported, citing the Iranian judicial publication Mizan, quoted by BTA.
According to the publication, the individuals were identified as Mohammad Masoum Shani and Hamed Validi. They were accused of being part of a spy network linked to Mossad and of having been trained abroad, including in the Iraqi Kurdistan region.
Iranian judicial authorities say the two were convicted of “enmity against God“ and collaborating with hostile groups, with the death sentences upheld by the Supreme Court before their execution.
