"Our air defense system is operating over Belgorod and Belgorod Oblast - several air targets were shot down on the approach to the city. According to preliminary information, eight civilians were injured, Gladkov wrote in the Telegram channel.
He specified that two women and one man with various lacerations were transported by ambulance teams from the village of Novosadovi to the regional clinical hospital. Two men from the village of Dubovoye were taken to Belgorod Hospital No. 2.
According to the governor, three more victims were given medical assistance on the spot, but they refused hospitalization.
