North Korean leader Kim Jong-un yesterday inspected tactical missile systems that will be provided to missile units of the armed forces, the North Korean news agency KCTA reported today, quoted by Reuters and BTA.
Kim expressed his satisfaction with the production of missile systems in the first half of the year and stressed the importance of fulfilling this year's military production plan. The implementation of the plan will lead to progress in the readiness of the DPRK for war, KCTA reports.
The missile systems produced in the first half of the year will be provided to missile divisions that are responsible for important strike missions, the North Korean news agency said.
Last week, Kim inspected the DPRK's artillery arsenal and visited sites where such weapons are tested.
