Over the past two years, Ukraine has successfully exported 136 million tons of goods through the European Solidarity Cor - 1

< strong>As a result of the challenges posed by the Russian invasion, Ukraine has successfully exported 136 million tons of goods through European solidarity corridors in the last two years. This initiative, as highlighted by the European Commission, demonstrates remarkable efforts to preserve Ukraine's trade despite significant obstacles, BTA reports.

Originally created to facilitate grain exports amid Russian Black Sea blockades, these corridors have become vital arteries for Ukrainian trade.

Stretching on land and water, they pass through Poland, the Baltic states, along the Danube and all the way to the Adriatic Sea. This network not only supports the movement of Ukrainian grain, but also opens up avenues for a wide range of other goods, extending a helping hand to Moldova as well.

The European Union has poured over two billion euros into the development of these routes, a testament to their commitment to supporting Ukraine's economy in these difficult times.

The corridors did more than just facilitate exports. They were crucial in bringing to Ukraine essential supplies such as fuel, fertilizers and even military and humanitarian aid, totaling more than 52 million tons.

This dual role of the corridors underscores their importance not only in sustaining Ukraine's economy, but also in supporting its people and military efforts.

The success of Europe's solidarity corridors is a powerful demonstration of what can be achieved when nations come together.

Through these corridors, Ukraine has been able to keep its goods moving, supporting its economy and ensuring the flow of important supplies in times of need.
