The Prosecutor General of Russia Igor Krasnov arrived in North Korea (DPRK) on a working visit, the world news reported agencies, quoted by BTA.
This is the first visit of a Russian Prosecutor General to Pyongyang, according to the press service of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office.
Krasnov was met at the airport by representatives of the Central Prosecutor's Office of the DPRK. He is expected to meet his North Korean counterpart in Pyongyang and discuss issues of bilateral cooperation with other official representatives.
A cooperation program between the Russian General Prosecutor's Office and the Central Prosecutor's Office of the DPRK for the period 2024-2026 is also planned to be signed, as well as a renewed cooperation agreement.
