There are almost 6.5 million registered voters in the country. They vote in 6,343 polling stations, including 54 in Karabakh and East Zangezur.

112,749 local observers and 589 international observers from 51 organizations and 69 countries are monitoring the course of the elections.
The first exit poll data and preliminary results will be announced tonight. The final results will be announced within 20 days.
Elections are based on the majority system. The winner in each constituency is the candidate who received a simple majority of the votes. There are 125 parliamentary seats in the parliament, which have a mandate of five years. Now 990 candidates are fighting for them, 305 of them are from political parties, and the rest are independent.
The polls predict the preservation of the majority of the governing party "New Azerbaijan", which had 70 seats in the previous parliament.
The elections were supposed to be in November, but they were moved forward because Azerbaijan will host the 29th World Climate Conference COP 29 in November and December, for which more than 80,000 guests will arrive in the country. including heads of state and government from over 50 countries.
