"Kiev is pouring out its impotent anger on the civilian population of Russia for the significant military losses it is suffering".
This is stated in a comment by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in connection with the drone attack on Kazan.
„The attack on the capital of Tatarstan is both a kind of revenge for the successful BRICS summit, which was held in October this year and demonstrated the power and influence of this association in the world, as well as an attempt to intimidate the population of one of the dynamically developing regions of our country“, she pointed out.
„It is no coincidence that all Ukrainian media and Telegram channels sadistically enjoy publishing footage from Kazan, accompanying them with obscene verbal outbursts. This is the inhuman essence of the regime of the “president with an expired term“, Zakharova added.
At the same time, the diplomat called Kiev's actions “a cynical attack“, as damage was caused to residential areas and civilian infrastructure facilities in the city.
“We once again call on the world community to give a harsh assessment of the criminal actions of the Zelensky junta. Terrorism has no justification. It cannot be ignored. It deserves condemnation and zero tolerance,“ she stressed.
According to Zakharova, Moscow is outraged by the hypocritical silence of the West and its media regarding the terrorist attacks in Russia.
“We are outraged by the demonstrative hypocritical silence of the collective West and its media, which immediately react to any manifestation of extremism and especially to terrorist attacks in different parts of the world, but in the case of Russia, they pretend that nothing is happening“, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
