Bird feathers have been found in the engines of the South Korean airline Jeju Air that crashed at Muan Airport on December 29, the MBN television channel reported.

According to media reports, bird feathers were found in two of the engines on both sides of the plane. According to the television channel, this increases the credibility of the version that the collision with the birds led to a malfunction of the engines.

It is also believed that this led to a power outage.

The investigative committee requested analysis from a biological institute, which conducted tests on 17 samples, including feathers and blood stains.
