Pakistan will not escalate the tension in the conflict with India if the neighboring country stops the military operation "Sindoor" and other aggressive actions.

„We have said all along that we will not do anything against India. If India backs down, we will definitely reduce our military actions. But as long as we are under attack, we will have to respond, we will have to defend ourselves,” Asif said.
When asked by the host about the possibility of talks after a series of mutual strikes, the minister replied that he “is not aware of any such contacts.”
Reports about the destruction of the Srinagar airbase in Jammu and Kashmir and a strike on the headquarters of an Indian army brigade are false, the Indian government’s press service said.
"A video published by some pro-Pakistan journalists falsely claims that the Pakistan Air Force carried out an airstrike on the Srinagar airbase. The published video is old and was not shot in India. It also called Pakistan's claims of destroying an Indian brigade headquarters in retaliation for Operation Sindoor false.
