Failure to air traffic control devices at Paris Orly airport led to the cancellation of about 130 flights today.
This was reported to AFP by the company operating the airports in the French capital, quoted by NOVA.
40 percent of the total 330 flights of aircraft that were supposed to take off or land today at the airport in the French capital were canceled.
Orly airport is located about 14 km from the center of Paris. It is the second largest in Paris and is the closest airport to the city. Until the construction of Charles de Gaulle airport, Orly was is the largest and main airport in Paris. It remains one of the busiest French airports, handling the majority of domestic traffic.
