The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi believes that Iran was not working on a nuclear bomb at the time of the Israeli attack.
He said this in an interview with the newspaper La Nacion.
"The answer at the moment is "no". But there were many elements leading to it," Grossi said, answering the question: "Did Iran build a nuclear bomb?"
Grossi warned against speculating on how long it might have taken Iran to build a nuclear bomb.
"We have to be very careful with questions about chronology. We all remember the tragic statement that Iraq needed 45 minutes to use weapons...", the IAEA chief added.
