The conflict between Israel and Iran is dangerous because it could become global, believes the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
At the same time, Medvedev noted that this "clearly does not harm" Russia.
„No matter how cynical it sounds, all this mess between Israel and Iran is clearly not harming our affairs. Most Americans do not even know where the dying Ukraine is, and the Trump team, which does not want to spend money on a conflict that is alien to them, is now very tense. It is another matter with "our native" Israel.
Well, let them now engage in their favorite imagination. There is only one obvious danger - the conflict in the Middle East is becoming global, which, by the way, Trump himself is constantly talking about," the politician wrote on his Telegram channel.
Russia would respond with tactical nuclear weapons if Ukraine uses a "dirty bomb", Medvedev said.
"As for possible attempts by the enemy to create and use the so-called dirty bomb, which the president spoke about yesterday. This, of course, would be an extremely dangerous provocation, which must be responded to proportionately. With what? With a clean bomb. We have enough. This is the same mirror response that the head of state announced", he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Medvedev added that he would remain silent about the consequences for future life and the environment, but Kiev should "have a good idea of them". "Let them walk around the Chernobyl exclusion zone and watch a colorful TV series," advised the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council.
