An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale was registered this morning near the Albanian capital Tirana, "Euronews Albania" reported, BTA reports.
The earthquake was felt in the area of the town of Kamza, located northwest of Tirana, and lasted only a few seconds. According to initial data, the earthquake was at a depth of eight kilometers.
However, the Albanian Institute of Geosciences reports a slightly higher value - magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale and a depth of 15 kilometers. The earthquake was registered shortly after 6:00 a.m. local time (7:00 a.m. Bulgarian time).
So far, there is no information about damage or injuries.
