A fire with an area of 120 square meters broke out in a building in the village of Peschanoe, Orenburg region. Five people died, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region reported.
„On 21.07.2025 at 02:06 (00:06 Bulgarian time) a report of a fire was received at the address: Ilek district, village of Peschanoe. The fire destroyed a building with a total area of 120 square meters. Unfortunately, five people died“, the message says.
It is specified that the fire has been extinguished. 26 people and 12 pieces of equipment, including 16 people and 6 pieces of equipment from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, were involved in extinguishing the fire. The cause of the fire is being determined.
