Last night was the official ceremony for the awarding of the Bulgarian Medical Union's awards for contribution to medicine: "Doctor of the Year – 2025"
The awards are presented for the 22nd consecutive year. This is a recognition for deserving doctors, and the awards are presented in five categories.
The big winner is Prof. Nikolay Gabrovski.
For the third consecutive year, the special award for medical dedication and ethics "Dr. Stefan Cherkezov" was also presented. It went to Dr. Dimitar Bakalov.
