Father Ivan from Novi Han, who had been taking care of people in need for years, has passed away. This was confirmed by the mayor of the village of Yakimovo, Georgi Georgiev, to NOVA.
For years, the father had been buying houses in the area, where he housed people in need.
In recent years, he had been in poor health, but despite this, he visited the village and took care of people, Georgiev said.
