A new signal about nightmarish conditions in facilities for the elderly. Although a hospice in Chernomorets was removed from state registers more than four months ago, it continues to function, and the conditions in which people live in it have not changed.

Former employees and relatives of users accommodated in the facility demanded that the owner bear responsibility.

The bTV team tried to contact the owner of Dr. Dimche Miladinoski's hospice many times today, but his phone was constantly busy. They didn't answer the doorbell either.

The sight is depressing enough.

According to a former hospice employee who left weeks ago, there are currently three out of 20 patients left there, and the instructions were to turn off the lights.

Two places for accommodating people are associated with the name of Dr. Miladinoski - the hospice in Chernomorets and the Home for the Elderly with Disabilities in Pomorie.

The hospice was closed down in June, and the facility in Pomorie has no documents for activity. However, both continue to operate with a total of three orderlies and a capacity of 20 people.

„People were tied up, even with ropes. There was blood on their hands, their legs as well as their arms, stretched out. We had a patient - Mariyka, who died and was thrown into a room that we used as a morgue,“ said Petya Stoyanova, a former employee at the hospice.

Dimitrina is seeking justice after her father died less than 24 hours after being admitted to the hospice.

In front of bTV, Social Minister Borislav Gutsanov said that new measures would be taken against the owner of the sites in Pomorie and Chernomorets.

“I even had a conversation with Mrs. Tahova today about Chernomorets and Pomorie. Letters have been sent to all the children and relatives of the people who are there, because this is illegal. Those who were there do not want to leave their homes. This cannot continue. If necessary, we will do it like last time with the other hospices“, said Gutsanov.

The Regional Health Inspectorate recalled that the hospice in Chernomorets was closed down five months ago by order of the Medical Supervision Agency.

„Unfortunately, the relatives of those who live there refused to take their loved ones out“, said Dr. Mariyana Kofinova, Deputy Director of RHI-Burgas.

Irregularities have also been found in Dr. Miladinoski's other facility in Pomorie.

„Unfortunately, we also have problems there. For several months in a row, inspections have been carried out several times a month, because each time they clearly cover up or cover up the irregularities in some way“, explained Dr. Mariyana Kofinova.
