The last weekend brought another increase in the price of gasoline and diesel in Bulgaria, a little more than an average of 3 stotinki for diesel fuel, and about 2 stotinki per liter for the most popular gasoline A95, showed a check on “24 hours“.
However, this must be added to the increase in price from last weekend, and so the prices of the most popular fuels in our country have already caught up with those they had last year at the same time. In the summer they were significantly cheaper.
At the sites of “Lukoil“ for example, 1 liter of A95 gasoline currently costs 2.41 leva, but with the discount for regular customers it can be bought for 2.36 leva. The exception is some city gas stations of the chain, where fuel is traditionally sold at least 3 stotinki cheaper than at the sites located at junctions on highways, which also have a higher turnover.
It is striking that in chains that traditionally sell at the lowest prices, such as “Kruiz“ for example, the price increase compared to last week is much greater – then A95 there cost 2.21 leva per liter with a discount, while now it is sold for 2.30 leva, and for customers who do not have a discount chip, even 2.40 leva.
The situation is the same with diesel, except that its average price in Bulgaria currently reaches 2.50 leva. And in traditionally expensive chains such as “Shell“ for example, it is even sold for 2.56 leva. The same fuel at an OMV site on the “Trakia“ highway is even sold for 2.61 leva for customers without a discount, otherwise it is 7 cents cheaper.“
