The three-year-old child from Yambol, who was filmed hanging from an eighth-floor balcony, has been placed in a foster family in Rakitovo. He will live with his younger sister.
The “Social Assistance“ Directorate specifies that the foster family has the necessary experience and conditions for raising children. So far, the foster parents have taken care of six children, including twins. In parallel with the placement, work is also being done with the biological parents. Social services are preparing an action plan that includes measures to increase parental capacity, as well as opportunities to maintain contact between parents and children.
