Russian aggression against Ukraine has undermined the security of the Black Sea and Azov regions and the whole of Europe and the world. In order to develop effective strategies in response to existing challenges and ensure sustainable development for all peace-loving countries of the region, Ukraine and Bulgaria will jointly hold the Second Black Sea Security Conference on April 15 in Sofia.
The conference is jointly organized by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Ukraine and Bulgaria in partnership with the Center for Defense Strategies (Ukraine).
Delegations from 42 countries and 8 international organizations will participate in the conference.
Conference participants will analyze the impact of Russian aggression on the security situation in the Black Sea-Azov region and beyond, discuss strategies for responding to existing threats and the future of regional security. The implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula will also be a key topic of discussion.

1. Panel discussion “Joint efforts to preserve stability in a complex geopolitical landscape“
2. Panel discussion "Winning the Battle for the Black Sea: Military Strategy for Ukraine".
3. Panel discussion "Ensuring maritime stability: the role of international organizations for the security of the Black Sea".
On April 14, the expert network of the International Crimea Platform will also hold the press conference of the Conference:
1. Panel discussion “Strategic review of the security situation in the Black and Azov Seas: perspectives and future”.
2. Panel discussion “The world in global changes: prospects for the development of global and Black Sea security”.
3. Special session “Russian practices to eliminate freedom of speech in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
4. Panel discussion “Covering the War: Wartime Journalism”.
