Goranov: We will not make concessions, the new prime minister must be of GERB

We will not make concessions that the prime minister of Bulgaria in the 50th parliament will be a bright political figure, broadcast by GERB. Boyko Borisov is the most prepared. But there is logic in proposing another candidate who can perform this function. Social experiments must be ended once and for all. There are indications that we will have more people's representatives in the next National Assembly. The most important thing is not to deviate from the basic principles, it is important to have a stable leadership and this time it is a matter of clear political responsibility and a clear decision-making mechanism. This was stated by the former Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov in the program "The Day ON AIR".

In his words, it is necessary to complete the changes in the Constitution, which require a majority. According to him, the bigger the majority in the parliament, the more stable the government will be.

Goranov is of the opinion that if all the commitments made in the budget are to be fulfilled, the deficit will probably be much more than 3% and may even double.

When asked whether GERB will accept Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev from PP-DB back in power, Goranov replied that they will become deputies, and they don't need more than that.

"Political opponents should not be given the opportunity to do unprincipled politics and make stupid decisions," the former finance minister told Bulgaria ON AIR.

In his words, the previous government used energy as a "cash cow" to fill holes in the budget.
