No no later than 48 hours before the election day, the heads of hospitals, social institutions, places of detention and ships must inform about the formation of polling stations on the territory of the places they lead, the Election Code (IC) provides, BTA reported.
For this, they must notify the municipal administration of the persons entered in the list, so that they are deleted from the electoral rolls at their permanent address or address of residence for the citizens of other member states of the European Union.
In order to form a section in hospitals, welfare facilities, places of detention and ships, it is necessary to submit at least 10 voting applications from voters.
According to CEC data, in the vote on June 9, the sections with machine voting were 9,347 out of 11,817 sections in the country.
