An independent candidate won the mayor's post in Relyovo with 7 votes over GERB

Borisov's party won the by-elections in Teplen

The independent candidate for mayor Lyudmil Yordanov won the elections in the Samokovo village of Relyovo. He received 74 votes, while 67 people voted for the GERB-SDS candidate Mariana Vardarova, BTA reported.

Out of 173 people who had the right to vote, 145 went to the polls.

Election day passed peacefully and without violations, the OIC added. The day also started in a calm atmosphere and continued without problems. Voter turnout at 11:00 a.m. was 33.18%, and at 4:00 p.m. - 67.63%.

Residents of the settlement voted in a runoff after last week they failed to elect a mayor in the first round.

Partial elections were reached after the OIC prematurely terminated the powers of the mayor of the village Yordan Kleshtanov. The election commission received two letters - from the Central Election Commission and the Council of Ministers, in which it is claimed that he is the owner and manager of a company and chairman of a community center. These circumstances are also established by the ex officio inquiry in the Trade Register, said the OIC - Samokov.

Levent Chaushev from GERB won the election for the mayor of the village of Teplen in Hadjidimov, reported "Focus".

138 people voted for him. The total number of voters is 283, which is 73.13%. According to electoral lists, there were 387 voters.
