Vigenin: We have already seen the collapse of one of the political formations

Isn't it time to take a statesmanlike approach, the socialist called

Sixth election in two and a half years and we are still in the same situation as GERB again could not or rather did not want to form a government. The second political force this time is DPS, whether it will remain second, at least from the point of view of the group in the parliament, remains to be seen. But obviously there are also processes that create additional tension and uncertainty in the political system and in the parliament. We have already seen the collapse of one of the political formations.

This comments in the studio of "The day begins" on BNT Christian Vigenin - deputy chairman of the BSP.

"The moment has come at this bottom, where we have reached and which is extremely demotivating for the citizens, but also for the political participants themselves, maybe it is time for there to be an awareness, because as everyone has stepped up for next election, let's think about what difference such elections will give. Hasn't the time come to take a statesmanlike approach and not be repeated by everyone - yes, there should be a regular government, but also for the formations to come out not only with recipes for how to be created, but what such a government should do and if there is one agreement on main priorities, let's see how this can be done. It's obvious that it won't happen with the second term, we have yet to see what the decision will be for the third, Vigenin explained.

"I will specify once again - we from the BSP do not insist on taking the third mandate, but whoever takes it must do everything possible to have a solution to the political crisis.

"Internal conflicts in the BSP were draining the party. The point is now to try to gather left-wing people in one place. But this will not happen if we are so divided with the other left parties. We are trying, following the French principle, to find solutions," he added.
