Kostadin Paskalev: A large part of the changes in the Constitution tried to solve personal and not essential problems

"We talked with the close leadership of the BSP. We talked about the possibilities of creating a left union. In principle, we have no differences, but it depends on whether by the 22nd we will be able to prepare a manifesto around which to unite", revealed the chairman of the coalition council of the "Left"

The idealess policy that was conducted for many years years, led to the loss of trust of left-wing voters. Another reason is the policy that Cornelia Ninova led. We suffered a heavy loss. This was stated by the chairman of the coalition council of the “Left” Kostadin Paskalev in the show "Face to Face" on bTV, quoted by novini.bg.

„The Left“ was created as an alternative to the BSP. Trust was lost. The result showed that we did not achieve the unification we wanted, he said.

The situation in the Bulgarian left is fundamentally different from that in France, the politician emphasized.
According to him, it is normal for leaders to tire of voters. In addition, we are witnessing a crisis of statehood.

„In my opinion, the changes to the Constitution were insufficiently well thought out, a large part of them tried to solve personal rather than essential problems. The BSP looked weak while these processes were going on”, believes Paskalev.

„We spoke with the close leadership of the BSP. We talked about the possibilities of creating a left union. In principle, we have no differences, but it depends on whether by the 22nd we will be able to prepare a manifesto around which to unite”, revealed Kostadin Pascalev.

According to him, there is a point in the manifesto that states that a supra-party coalition council will make decisions on the order of the lists.
