„Revival“ will present today to the acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev the question of a change in the regulation for the annual technical reviews, it became clear from the words of Angel Slavchev from “Vazrazhdane“, who spoke to the media in the parliament, broadcast by BTA.
Slavchev noted that they will insist that the Prime Minister hold a working meeting with the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Environment and Water and that an interdepartmental commission be created to change the regulation within ten days.
From “Revival“ explain that if certain texts are removed, cars even if they do not meet the gas standards can be allowed to move freely for a period of between 14 and 30 days, so that the problem can be fixed and these cars are not stopped from moving.
Slavchev added that they have sent proposals for changes in the regulation to the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Transport.
Angel Slavchev also commented that the problem with gases is also related to the quality of the fuel.
„According to our data, over 2 million cars will remain without technical inspections in the next one year”, added the People's Representative. According to “Revival“ the changes they propose do not contradict the relevant European directive.
