My hearing in the committee about the Notary and Pepi Euro was some kind of maneuver by Peevski to blur the focus and divert attention from myself. They didn't show much interest in what I wanted to tell them. They had released anonymous information through some websites, with which they wanted to create an intrigue. This was stated by Hristo Ivanov in the program "This morning" on bTV, quoted by novini.bg.

I wanted to tell how concerned Peevski was about the interests of Georgi Cholakov, chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court. His term was coming to an end and the question was how his career would continue. Peevski wanted, with the changes in the Constitution, that the presidents of the Supreme Court of Cassation and the Supreme Court of Cassation should be introduced for two mandates, of 5 years each. Due to a negative public reaction, however, we managed to convince Peevski to give up, says Ivanov.

According to him, there have been talks about Georgi Cholakov being nominated for a constitutional judge. "I don't know why there is this concern for Cholakov and what the interest is, but I can guess," he added.

Ivanov confirmed that he had meetings with acting chief prosecutor Borislav Sarafov. "I had five conversations with Sarafov in the presence of other people. The goal was to hold a conversation, to convince the prosecutor's office to support a vision for its reformation. He must understand that he cannot do it this way, that he needs reformation. In the beginning, Sarafov made requests that he wanted to be a reformer. This is already forgotten. Do we see a corruption investigation - no. Are we seeing a decline in such cases - many, commented Ivanov.
If there are new early parliamentary elections, a way must be found through the parliament and a person or people should be placed in the positions from which Rumen Radev can choose an acting prime minister. Glavchev's government should not organize the holding of elections again. This is my personal opinion. However, only the people in the parliament can say what can happen, Ivanov also pointed out.
