Chenchev: Ninova can be a deputy. The revolutionaries read the statute like the devil the gospel

Art. 41 (5) of the Statute of the BSP: "Candidates for people's representatives cannot be socialists who have been people's representatives for 12 years. This restriction does NOT apply to the chairman of the BSP.

„Ninova can "The revolutionaries read the statute like the devil," wrote the "BSP" national council member Ivan Chenchev in a post on the social networks, adding:

„Here is the truth! Point to the matter.

Art. 41 (5) of the Statute of the BSP: "Candidates for people's representatives cannot be socialists who have been people's representatives for 12 years. This restriction does NOT apply to the chairman of the BSP."

The new management clearly interprets the statute selectively. Ninova is a member of the 41st National Assembly, i.e. since 2009. 7 years have passed since her election as chairman in 2016. Therefore, according to the statute, he is currently entitled to another 5 years as a representative of the people. Any other interpretations are unconstitutional and subject to appeal, Chenchev wrote.
