Are there already certain candidates for ministers in Gorica Kozhareva's cabinet?

Lyudmila Petkova, education minister Galin Tsokov and the cultured Nayden Todorov will with a high degree of probability keep their posts in the new official cabinet

Talks about the new ministers in official power continue. As of yesterday, Prime Minister nominee Goritza Kozhareva started gathering her team.

Conversations are confidential. Some are for informational purposes only.

Those invited to a meeting with Prime Minister-nominee Goritza Kozhareva so far are both current ministers - of internal affairs, finance and justice, as well as members of previous offices, reports bTV.

Today, for the first time, the Acting Minister of Defense made a comment. Atanas Zapryanov said that he has not yet been invited, but rather he is inclined to be part of the new cabinet.

„I have been on a business trip since Thursday. I have no news, I wish the prime minister Gorica Kozhareva to create a strong team, as we were. I have done my job as a caretaker minister. When I get an invite, we'll talk. I am used to receiving appointments, I have 20 appointments so far, Atanas Zapryanov pointed out.

In recent days, the name of Ivan Demerdzhiev appeared as an option for interior minister. He held the post in Galab Donev's two offices.

On social networks today, Demerdzhiev called these news “promising“. However, his post ends with the words: “See you soon“.

We asked the Minister of Transport, Georgi Gvozdeikov, if he had already received an invitation for a conversation, but he did not want to elaborate. On Friday, he said that he would listen to the priorities of Gorica Kozhareva.

Health Minister Galya Kondeva also made a request that she would rather continue her work in the new government.

According to information from bTV, Gorica Kožareva has already held a meeting with Finance Minister Lyudmila Petkova. She, Education Minister Galin Tsokov and the cultured Nayden Todorov will most likely keep their posts in the new cabinet.

Gorica Kožareva has until August 19 to gather her team. And the Council of Ministers must be sworn in on August 20 to make it possible, as required by the Constitution, for the elections to be held two months later.
