" Rumen Gaitanski-Valka is not afraid for his life and told me that he is not a mouse to hide," his lawyer Konstantin Simeonov told bTV after Valka surrendered to the authorities yesterday, quoted by news.bg.
He explained that people surrender who have lost a battle, and it is just beginning. Gaitanski appeared before the Anti-Corruption Commission and was detained there for 72 hours. The prosecutor's office has no imagination and cannot come up with a better accusation, according to lawyer Simeonov.
According to him, the problem is not with Gaitanski, but with the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) for granting such a large state loan.
