The case with Pernik revealed how the PR machine of GERB works:
A member of parliament (in this case me) personally visits an agency to check on progress on a project important to his constituents and shares the information.
On Friday night, I'm posting what I've learned to keep Pernicans up to date on the status of this important project.
Borisov got scared and started calling official ministers and his contacts in Pernik in the middle of the night.
This was published on his Facebook page by the co-chairman of the PP Kiril Petkov. Here's more from his post:
Allegedly, the caretaker government, under pressure from GERB, makes an official statement late on Friday night in August!
Around 11 p.m., media such as "Epicenter" are activated, fulfilling the paid order of GERB.
The PRs of GERB start writing at midnight another "pizza with crystals" type of ridiculousness, and MPs like Georg/actually Georg Georgiev-b.r./ write at night.
The next day they forced the head of API to get involved (I'm sorry that he was also involved in this PR hysteria of GERB, because during our meeting he was very constructive).
Why such a reaction? It's simple - GERB knows that this important project did not happen during the 10 years of their administration. I didn't even accuse them in my post of this fact. Nor did I remind them of the millions stolen from the highways through the same agency and the construction companies associated with them during their administration.
In reality, the ass is running away. Besides, Borisov hardly remembers the last time he personally went to inspect a project important to the people.
I wonder if the GERBs put the energy they use to run their PR machine into real projects and laws for the people, wouldn't this regressive system have worked long ago?
Will this post make them think twice, or will they go wild on the yellow media again? Hardly!
