The organizers of the parachute jump that ended with two in hospital: The wind blew them away

According to the accident, two domes of the parachute opened instead of one

After the accident in which the parachute landed on top of a car, say skydiving company executives. One of them witnessed what happened. According to them, in the incident, two domes of the parachute opened instead of one.

The company has third-party insurance that will cover the damage to the damaged vehicle. The person injured in the jump and the instructor are still under medical supervision.

4200 meters is the height from which thrill seekers jump. Before that, each of them must have read the terms and agreed that they assume their share of the risk. The owners of the airport and the skydiving company have their interpretation of the latest incident near Ikhtiman.

"The facts are that there are two open domes, which creates a problem in managing those domes. Both are of the "flying wing" and that's why the wind, as you can see it now, the wind carried them to the end of the village", explained Dragomir Nedkov. Instead of on the hood of the car in the village of Chernevo, the paratroopers should have landed on a meadow.

The other partner Hristo Kirikchiev also flew with a parachute and witnessed what was happening.

"Immediately after I deployed my parachute, I started counting the remaining parachutes and whether they were properly deployed and I saw that there was an unusual deployment of a reserve parachute of the people who jumped after me,", he explained.

People in the village claim that 15 parachutes have been collected there in the last year alone. However, the manager claims that the latest incident is more of an exception.

"We have been with the company for 14 years and this is the first seriously injured passenger," said Dragomir Nedkov.

The injured are still in hospital. It is also not clear what compensation they will receive. And the car they fell on will be repaired at the expense of the company's third-party damage insurance.

An investigation is underway for causing severe or moderate bodily injury due to ignorance or negligent performance of a regulated activity with increased risk, reported the Bulgarian National Television, quoted by FOCUS.
