The National Council has clearly decided who is the Acting President – Atanas Zafirov. The Executive Bureau also works and holds meetings almost every day. The attempts to install Ivan Chenchev and Georgi Svilenski, who are not even members of the IB, is just a last attempt by Ninova to bypass the mandate and secure a seat on the parliamentary bank.
Today's /b.r. yesterday's actions are a well-organized PR-action aimed at discrediting the BSP and the process of unification of all left-wing parties. This attempt will not succeed.
The former chairman of the party, Cornelia Ninova, left the BSP in an extremely difficult financial situation with nearly BGN 3 million in liabilities. The party headquarters was reduced to a humiliating existence on the brink of closure. The striking thing is that these obligations include unpaid social security payments to employees, while Ninova assured from the parliamentary rostrum how she was protecting social rights.
The new management immediately set about solving the financial problems. Negotiations have begun in the National Revenue Agency for the rescheduling of payments.
It is a fact that the last part of the subsidy for the previous National Assembly was stopped precisely because of these obligations. Although difficult, a solution was found and the subsidy was obtained, allowing the wages to be paid at headquarters.
With the new subsidy, things are not like that. Already on June 25, the party's leadership started communication with the Ministry of Justice, which is responsible for the payment of subsidies.
And here the BSP faced Ninova's attempts to sabotage every action. The subsidy must be requested from the representative of the coalition Cornelia Ninova.
Immediately - already on 03.07, a request for an extension of the deadline was released, waiting for Ninova to fulfill this obligation. The letter was released by the party's lawyer. Unfortunately, not only was there no action on the part of Ninova, on the contrary - she terminated the power of attorney of the party lawyer Aglika Videnova, which further complicated the process. After Ninova's categorical refusal to fulfill its obligations under the law, from "Positano" 20, a request was sent to the Ministry, to which we received an expected refusal.
We attach this refusal, which clearly states the reason why the party does not receive a subsidy for the second month. And the reason has a name - Cornelia Ninova.
However, the new management found a way. With or without a subsidy, the party is alive, the salaries are paid, the lies will be exposed because they are already coming in more!
The Executive Bureau will not look for excuses, but a way for BSP to move forward. However, sabotage will not be tolerated, not for our sake, but for the sake of the BSP members and sympathizers.
