Singer Diona showed the results of a drug test done in a laboratory in Sofia, conveyed " ;Focus".

"These tests go way back in time. I don't use drugs! I don't want to be associated with drugs in any way. I have learned my lessons and conclusions from the mistakes I have made in my past. I don't want to encourage young people to use drugs. What I promoted today was an energy drink that is taken through the nose to absorb faster and nothing more! How harmful is it - as much as all the other liquids we take. It is licensed and allowed in many other countries on the market... and people decided to promote it in Bulgaria as well, but today after seeing the response and the reaction, they contacted me and asked me to delete the video. They told me that they don't want to be associated with the Bulgarian consumer and the Bulgarian market - because it's the first time they've seen such a reaction," commented Diona on her Instagram profile.

"I am obliged to give this explanation to the people who follow me, to the people who take an example from me. I will tell you, I also do many other things, from which you can take an example: At least once a month I try to go to charity events, and last month I went with many of my colleagues and we collected nearly 20,000 BGN for a dying child. I'm sorry the journalists didn't come to cover it, I'm sorry it didn't make an impression on you. I'm sorry that I'm not the best example and guardian of your children, but if they take an example from a 10-second video more than from home - it's not so much my fault as the parents', explains the singer, who was showered with wool of negative comments after a new ad featuring her was released, where the pop-folk singer promotes an "innovative" energy drink that is snorted.

The National Youth Committee of VMRO sent a signal for suggesting the use of narcotic substances through the advertisement of an energy drink by the chalga performer Diona to the prosecutor's office, reported FOCUS.

"We express our sharp indignation and categorically condemn the actions related to the advertising and distribution of the energy drink "Sniff Bull", carried out by the chalga performer Diona. "This advertisement not only presents the product in a way that resembles the use of narcotic substances, but also sends a harmful message to young people in Bulgaria, who are already exposed to serious pressures and dangers related to the drug culture," wrote the chairman of the NMK Hristo Ivanov.

Here is what else the young people of VMRO wrote to the state prosecution:

In a situation where drug use among young people in Bulgaria is alarmingly high, such a marketing approach is irresponsible and unacceptable. Instead of providing a safe environment and adequate education about the risks associated with narcotic substances, we allow the advertising of products that openly mimic these practices and present them as "harmless” and even "legal”. This is nothing but drug propaganda masquerading as harmless advertising.

We note with particular concern that this ad is aimed at young people who are already under pressure to use drugs in order to fit into certain social circles. The use of such substances often leads not only to addiction, but also to dangerous behaviors that endanger the health and lives of young people. In Bulgaria, there is a lack of elementary mechanisms such as "drug checking", which would allow checking the content of such products, which further increases the risk of serious consequences.

In this particular case, the ad for "Sniff Bull“ is not just a sniffing lesson; it is a cynical attempt to normalize and even glorify such behavior. Not even a rudimentary attempt has been made to warn users about the risks of using the same tube, which shows a total lack of concern for the health of young people.

The NMK of VMRO categorically condemns these actions and calls on the competent authorities to take immediate measures to stop the distribution and advertising of this product. It's time to stop promoting drug use and put the health and safety of our children and youth first. Such irresponsibility cannot and should not be tolerated, the report also says.

In the Internet space, a singer who is experienced as an influencer, spreads a video in which she urges her followers to consume "allegedly“ a harmless drink that is taken through the nose through a shiny tube. This was stated by Petar Petrov from "Vazrazhdane" on Facebook, quoted by FOCUS.

"I was shocked by what I saw, because we from "Revival“ we have fought and continue to fight against the creation of dependence in the population on any substance that is sold on the market, legal or not. It is unacceptable for a person that young people follow or a so-called influencer to advertise for money, something that resembles the use of narcotic substances and in a car, thus creating an illusion that this thing is harmless. This is a shocking manifestation of propagandizing corruption in Bulgarian society”, Petar Petrov also said in a video address on the social network.

He recalled that the political organization of which he is a part actively fights for the health and minds of adolescents and will also take active actions, demanding information from all institutions regarding the measures taken to limit such problems.

"We remind you that "Revival" launched an active fight against gambling addiction months ago, as a result of its actions and the raising of a wide discussion in society and the other parties were forced to take measures. As a result of the active actions of "Revival" changes in the law were provoked and the advertising of gambling in the Bulgarian media was stopped. Bulgarian children no longer hear gambling advertisements on radio and television. We will take the necessary actions to raise a broad public discussion about inappropriate content for children on the Internet and the possibilities to limit it.

We also took action against the war on the roads, part of which is caused precisely by drunk and drugged drivers. In this connection, legislative amendments to the Penal Code were also undertaken. Only less than a month ago, we managed to bring about changes in the Law on Preschool and School Education, through which we banned the promotion of non-traditional sexual orientation in Bulgarian schools and kindergartens, and we will continue to take all necessary actions to protect our children from harmful influence. ;, he added.

"Many people call us extreme, many people call us radical, but what can we do when through such uncontrollable advertisements, which are distributed absolutely freely and are viewed by children and adolescents, an impact is made that you see, that yes sniffing something is absolutely harmless does not lead to anything bad. "What an example is being given to the younger generation," said Petar Petrov.

He is sure that if urgent legislative measures are not taken, such disgusting advertisements and impacts on Bulgarian society will become more frequent and they will corrupt it, which is extremely worrying, according to him.

"We will try to counteract this thing as a matter of urgency, as I personally have always been of the opinion that we must fight against what is destroying the foundations of Bulgarian society. Of course, there is no way we can allow people who are convicted of drug-related crimes to freely advertise such substances on social media, let alone in the free market. Why? Because the use of narcotic substances, even substances that only imitate them, is extremely dangerous.

You know very well that this has a negative impact on the human organism, on the development of adolescents, not to mention the drivers of motor vehicles. Two or three weeks ago I saw a dead man on the highway. It is something that is not forgotten. This is something that makes you do everything possible to prevent such occurrences.

And I think that the advertising of such products, which are explained to us how harmless they are, will not help to deal with either the war on the roads or the addictions to various substances. It is because of this that we must be intolerant, no matter how much criticism we receive. We believe that this is the thing that is important in order to be able to survive and preserve ourselves as a nation," concluded Petar Petrov, MP from "Vazrazhdane".
